Attorney Profile

Attorney Philip M. Kalil was born and raised in Salem, New Hampshire.  He is a graduate of the Salem Public School System and later went on to New Hampton Preparatory School where he obtained his Post-Graduate degree.  Attorney Kalil received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Sacred Heart University and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law.  While at Sacred Heart, Phil was a scholarship athlete and a 4-year starter for the Pioneer’s NCAA Division 1 wrestling team.  Phil continues to remain active in the wrestling community and coaches the Salem, NH High School wrestling team.

Now, as an associate attorney with Germaine & Blaszka, P.A, Attorney Kalil focuses his practice in criminal defense matters, particularly representation of clients charged with driving while intoxicated and other related motor vehicle offenses.  He is admitted to practice before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, United States District Court of New Hampshire, the Federal District Court of New Hampshire and Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.  Attorney Kalil is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the New Hampshire Bar Association.

Prior to joining Germaine & Blaszka, P.A., Attorney Kalil worked as an associate for the Law Offices of Mark Stevens, in Salem, NH, where he was instrumental in creating and editing the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) publication: “A Practical Guide to Trying DWI Cases in New Hampshire,” published in 2010.  His contribution includes an entire chapter on the collateral consequences of a DWI arrest and conviction.
